ΑΠΑΝΤΗΣΗ ΣΤΟ ΥΠΟΥΡΓΕΙΟ ΜΕΤΑΝΑΣΤΕΥΣΗΣ ΠΟΥ ΕΠΙΤΙΘΕΤΑΙ ΣΕ ΜΕΤΑΝΑΣΤΕΣ/ΣΤΡΙΕΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΛΛΗΛΕΓΓΥΟΥΣ/ΕΣ

Απάντηση στο Υπουργείο Μετανάστευσης που επιτίθεται σε μετανάστες/στριες και αλληλέγγυους/ες.

Σε πρόσφατη ανάρτηση του Υπουργείο Μετανάστευσης και Ασύλου, διαβάσαμε τα εξής:

Ο Υπουργός Μετανάστευσης και Ασύλου, κ. Νότης Μηταράκης, βρέθηκε, σήμερα στην Πλατεία Βικτωρίας, όπου και παρακολούθησε από κοντά την επιχείρηση μεταφοράς των αναγνωρισμένων προσφύγων σε ασφαλή καταλύματα. Στη συνέχεια, έκανε την ακόλουθη ανάρτηση στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης:

“Αποχώρησαν όλοι οι πρόσφυγες από την Πλατεία Βικτώριας σε προσωρινά καταλύματα. Χάρη στις ενέργειες της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας και της Υπηρεσίας Πρώτης Υποδοχής του Υπουργείου Μετανάστευσης και Ασύλου. Και παρά την προσπάθεια αλληλέγγυων, που τώρα ήρθαν στην πλατεία, να εκμεταλλευτούν τον ανθρώπινο πόνο με στόχο την δημιουργία εντυπώσεων.”

Ο Υπουργός εννοεί εμάς, μια συνέλευση ντόπιων-μεταναστ(ρι)ών/αλληλέγγυων, άλλες συλλογικότητες και αλληλέγγυους/ες που βρεθήκαμε τις τελευταίες μέρες στη Βικτώρια, και ανήκουμε στο διεθνιστικό-αντιπολεμικό κίνημα αλληλεγγύης προς μετανάστες και μετανάστριες που υπάρχει στην Ελλάδα, στη Μεσόγειο, στην Ευρώπη, στον κόσμο. Εμείς είμαστε οι αλληλέγγυοι και αλληλέγγυες που δήθεν «εκμεταλλεύονται τον ανθρώπινο πόνο με στόχο τη δημιουργία εντυπώσεων». Άραγε, ποιόν ”πόνο” εννοεί, αυτόν που προκάλεσε και προκαλεί η κρατική καταστολή αναγνωρισμένων μάλιστα προσφύγων στην Πλατεία Βικτώριας, με την ελληνική αστυνομία να χτυπάει εκατοντάδες άτομα και οικογένειες προσφύγων από την Μόρια και άλλα νησιά; Μήπως άραγε ο Υπουργός εννοεί τις δεκάδες (παράνομες) επαναπροωθήσεις μεταναστών/στριών από το ελληνικό λιμενικό; Μήπως εννοεί τους πυροβολισμούς εναντίον μεταναστών/στριών από το ελληνικό κράτος, τον ελληνικό στρατό και τους φασίστες στον Έβρο και αλλού, που είχαν ως αποτέλεσμα τη δολοφονία τουλάχιστον δύο μεταναστών; Μήπως το Υπουργείο και η ελληνική κυβέρνηση συμπονούν και νοιάζονται για μετανάστες/στριες και πρόσφυγες, όταν έχουν ανακοινώσει πως οι 93 «δομές φιλοξενίας» θα μετατραπούν σε 30 «κλειστές δομές», όταν έχουν επιταχύνει τις διαδικασίες απόρριψης των αιτήσεων ασύλου, όταν έχουν κόψει το οικονομικό επίδομα σε πρόσφυγες και όταν έχουν ξεκινήσει να εφαρμόζουν πάνω από 10.000 εξώσεις προσφύγων από διαμερίσματα και camps; Μήπως το ελληνικό κράτος ενδιαφέρεται για πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες/στριες όταν συμμετέχει όλο και περισσότερο στις στρατιωτικές επεμβάσεις στη Μέση Ανατολή και την Αφρική;

Οι ελληνικές κυβερνήσεις και όλα τα καπιταλιστικά έθνη-κράτη στρέφονται ενάντια στην κοινωνική πλειοψηφία ντόπιων-μεταναστ(ρι)ών εξυπηρετώντας τα συμφέροντα των μεγάλων και των μικρών επιχειρήσεων. Το ελληνικό κράτος έχει πρωταγωνιστήσει στις αντεργατικές επιθέσεις απέναντί μας όλα τα τελευταία χρόνια, ενώ επεκτείνει όλο και περισσότερο το καθεστώς των στρατοπέδων συγκέντρωσης στα σύνορα, στα νησιά, στην ηπειρωτική Ελλάδα, ως την άλλη όψη των πολέμων και της οικονομικής εκμετάλλευσης της Μέσης Ανατολής και της Αφρικής. Ο ελληνικός καπιταλισμός με τον πόλεμο κατά των μεταναστ(ρι)ών επιδιώκει ό,τι κάθε καπιταλισμός: αποκλεισμός των «πλεοναζόντων μεταναστευτικών πληθυσμών» από την υπόλοιπη κοινωνία, τη πρόσβαση σε βασικά αγαθά και τις πόλεις, υποτίμηση της εργασιακής δύναμης και υπερεκμετάλλευση των μεταναστών/στριών από τα ντόπια αφεντικά και τις επιχειρήσεις, συνέχιση των στρατιωτικών επεμβάσεων. Η Ελλάδα, η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, το ΝΑΤΟ και οι κυβερνήσεις των κρατών-μελών έχουν την απόλυτη ευθύνη για όλους αυτούς τους πολέμους και όλη αυτή την κοινωνική και οικονομική ανισότητα που αναπαράγεται και διαιωνίζεται προς όφελος της «Δύσης», έχουν την απόλυτη ευθύνη για κάθε θάνατο, κάθε δολοφονία και κάθε εκμετάλλευση που βιώνει κάθε μετανάστης/στρια στα σύνορα ή στην ενδοχώρα.

// Στις 16 Ιουλίου θα πραγματοποιηθεί η δίκη 4 αλληλέγγυων προς μετανάστ(ρι)ες/πρόσφυγες στη Πλατεία Βικτώριας.

// Στις 17 Ιουλίου καλούμε σε διαδήλωση αλληλεγγύης ντόπιων-μεταναστ(ρι)ών στο Μοναστηράκι, στις 18.30, ενώ ψηφίστηκε ο νέος νόμος καταστολής και περιορισμού των διαδηλώσεων.

Να είμαστε όλα εκεί!

CALL FOR GATHERING IN FRONT OF NOSTOS NGO OFFICES AGAINST EVICTIONS

WE CALL FOR GATHERING IN FRONT OF NOSTOS NGO OFFICES, METSOVOU WITH NOTARA. MONDAY 6th JULY AT 11:00AM

At the begining of June, the family of Hadla Al-Dawas was notified by the Nostos NGO to leave their house. The family consisted of 2 kids, their parents and Hadla Al-Dawas, the grandma: an elderly woman with serious heart health issues. Nostos pressed them to leave, threatened them with future problems with their asylum papers, a forced eviction by the police, and future court cases.

In order to protect their grandma, the family had to answer these demands and she moved into Schistou refuge camp, where another of her sons was living with his family. After 30 hours of being in the camp, she suffered a heart attack and died. The ambulance came to take her body, trying to cover it as much as possible.

After this horrific event, Nostos continued to call the family to remind them that they have to leave the house at the end of June. They added to their threats leaving the house immediately was the only way to be able to apply to Hellios housing “support” program. Nostos knows the family suddenly lost their grandma, they know also the mother of the kids has health issues, they know that the family is not at all in a good condition, but still they keep pressing them to leave the house. Their priority is regulations and finances over human lives.

Nostos is fully responsible for the death of Hadla Al-Dawas. They knew of her health conditions previously, she had been before in the hospital with heart problems. Nostos’s humanitarian profile is not confusing anybody. This NGO is just the practical administrators of the misery and criminal migration politics of the State. Nostos are just a thin cover for the death machine of a system which put profits and power over human lives.

We demand Nostos:

– Stop pressing the XX family and find a permanent solution for their situation.

– Accept their responsibility in this death and respond accordingly towards the family.

– Stop pressing other families in the same situation.

– Stand public and practically against the evictions of asylum seekers and refugees.

Migrants lives matter. States are killing migrant on the borders, in prisons and detention centers, in the camps, and now even inside their own homes.

Solidarity protest in Ritsona camp

On Friday 8/5 at 20:40 pm and despite the current police ban on movement outside the county, people from our assembly in collaboration with solidarians from Athens and Chalkida arrived at the Ritsona camp to deliver basic necessities following our communication with migrants living in the camp. This initiative was part of a larger effort to create and maintain a relationship with the migrants in the camp.

We are aware that the living conditions in the camps – the establishment of which began with the government of Syriza- are awful and we know that the migrants living in them are lacking basic necessities. In the last few years communication of solidarians and migrants imprisoned in the camps has been rendered very difficult since the state forbids the entrance of political groups in the camps and allows only the entrance of registered NGOs.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that our entrance in the camp was made possible through the intervention of some migrants themselves. Hence, three of us entered the camp, sat in a circle with the migrants and began a political conversation with them that lasted for nearly two hours. We learned that the migrants are in need of many things from food to medicines and money, proof of the Greek state’s inhuman policies. We were also informed that many children living in the camp do not have access to any kind of education. We found out that the fact that the whole of the camp is infected with Covid – 19 is a lie designed to scare locals and turn them against the migrants.

We heard a migrant woman’s life story – a story of war, expropriation, forced displacement and dehumanization that has many things in common with the stories of most other migrants in the camp. Another migrant asked us what we can offer and help them with to which we answered that as a self -organized political group it is the political struggle for liberty that we mainly fight for and we were surprised to learn that this was the answer he was hoping for.

Many migrants declared that the most important thing for them is not just survival but also freedom – a word that they repeated many times. We informed them that we are against the current government as well as the previous one and that we view the intensification of the policies of repression as part of the Greek state’s and the EU’s general policies which are to blame for the situation with the camps.

We also informed them that we are not an NGO that our collectivity is made up of individuals who are in solidarity with migrants and our political goal is to create a ground for common struggles between locals and migrants. T

Towards the end of our conversation we agreed upon some actions that will make their needs and problems public in Ritsona and Chalkida.

Shut down the Camps. Open structures of accommodation within the cities.

Health Services and Education, Legal documents and Freedom for all.
